From The Elmwood Vaults: The PLINK Years!

In 2001 Elmwood Productions started... Slowly... As we reach our 20th year making this madness we've been adding videos to YouTube from "The Elmwood Vaults". And not including footage from these early days would have been a shame! Sure, it's not Elmwood's greatest works. But it is what lead us to where we are today! So by 2003 Elmwood was creating and shooting a series called “It’s Late Enough with Plink” and a short film called “Josh and Todd” “Josh and Todd” was put on hold after a couple days of shooting, and was eventually re-started in 2008, and released in 2011. “Plink” was worked on from 2003-2006, and was never released officially. Here, for the first time is the “pilot” for “It’s Late Enough with Plink” and a trailer for the 2003 unfinished version of “Josh and Todd”. Also presented is a “demo reel” for “It’s Late Enough”.

Ten Years!!! Happy Friday the 13th!

It's still our Ten Year Anniversary...

So we found a video of our first project, "It's Late Enough With Plink!", which was a failed cable access show that parodied late night talk shows.

 So we're sharing that video with you...  It's a demo reel for the show.  

Don't be too harsh on us!  We were younger and just finding our bearings and laughing a lot...  To be honest we're still laughing a lot!

A Puppet A Day

Our own Jon Bristol has set up a new blog. It's an interesting challenge, and we're looking forward to seeing what happens...

It's called A Puppet A Day. It began on October 20, and what he has set out to do is post a puppet every single day. Starting with the puppets he has already made and going for as long as possible without missing a day (for atleast a year). This will be fun for Elmwood Productions, because we can see some old friends pop up, and from an artistic standpoint it'll be fun to see the evolution of Jon as a puppet builder. He says that they are going up in the order of "whatever", which we think means he's posting whatever one fancies him that day. As of now we've gotten to see Plink, Otis and a newbie called Joanie... According to Jon when the time comes he misses a day that means he's "run out" and it will kinda stop. At that time he'll continue to post new puppets as they are made, but he will also use it to showcase puppets he has collected and images of puppets from around the world...
